This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We operate a private reference site. We cannot confirm that a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, contact the issuing court, the Friend of the Court, or the Sheriff's Office directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
These are the offices that handle the questions people ask most often about Van Buren County cases:
- A case status question: call the court that holds the file, since only that court can say whether an order is open. The 7th District Court answers at (269) 657-8222 in Paw Paw and (269) 637-5258 in South Haven, and both counters keep weekday hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
- A bench warrant for a missed date: contact the court that set the case, because that judge issued the order and controls any recall.
- A felony or circuit matter: the 36th Circuit Court sits on the second floor at 212 E Paw Paw St. County pages list two office numbers, (269) 657-8200 and (269) 657-8260, so verify the current one.
- Child support enforcement: the Friend of the Court is at 203 S Niles St in Paw Paw, reachable at (269) 657-7734 or focmail@vanburencountymi.gov. Circuit court records questions also route through the County Clerk at (269) 657-8218, option 6.
- A Sheriff's Office record: the office is at 205 S Kalamazoo St in Paw Paw, with an administrative line at (269) 657-2006 and non-emergency dispatch at (269) 657-3101. Records requests use the Sheriff FOIA form and the county FOIA form.
- Clearing or resolving a warrant: speak with a licensed Michigan attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a voluntary appearance, or posting bond.
We cannot look up a name for you, and no website can replace a call to the office that maintains the file.
